White Stork Chicks Hatch For The First Time In The UK In 600 Years

White Stork chicks have recently hatched in the UK for the first time in 600 years.

New footage of the new white stork chicks was captured on film. A total of five eggs has been laid by the beautiful female white stork. Both parents were incubating the eggs.

Last week it was reported that one of the adorable chicks had hatched. It is now believed that a least three of the five eggs have now hatched. Therefore, they are the first three adorable baby white stork chicks to hatch in the UK for hundreds of years.

The last time that white storks were breeding on the British Isles was when Henry V was sitting on the throne of England, a king that predates Henry VIII.

It shows how long these birds have been absent from breeding on the isles.

The last pair of breeding white storks were thought to have lived in Edinburgh.

The new chicks symbolize hope for these animals in the British Isles and could symbolize the start of a positive future for white storks in the UK.

You can see the video of the chicks hatching below.
