Virginia has just banned cosmetic testing on animals!
Virginia has just passed a bill that bans cosmetic testing on animals.
This makes Virginia the fourth state in the United States of America to ban cosmetic testing on animals. The other three states in the United States of America which have banned cosmetic testing on animals are Nevada, California and Illinois.
The bill will come into effect on the 1st of January 2022.
What Is Cosmetic Testing?
Cosmetic testing is where cosmetics are used on animals to test the products. These cosmetic products can include everything from makeup to toiletries.
Therefore, it is welcoming news that Virginia has banned animal testing; it will help to create a kinder world for animals.
What Can You Do To Help?
You can help prevent animals being used in cosmetic testing. You can do this by buying makeup and toiletries which are cruelty free.
