It has also pledged to tackle climate change. The UK government has said that it aims to tackle climate change and halt biodiversity loss by 2030.
In a press release recently, the UK government has said that it has secured 'historic commitments to tackle climate change and halt biodiversity loss'.
They want to do the following:
. Protect land
. Protect oceans
. Conserve or protect 30% of land
. Conserve or protect 30% of oceans
. 'Curve' biodiversity loss
. And, phase out fossil fuels
