There is good news, as the BBC has announced that there will be three new natural history shows broadcast on the BBC!
The new BBC natural history shows will feature 'game-changing technology combined with exciting new storytelling techniques' - it sounds like the new nature shows will bring something new to nature documentaries, which is something to look forward to.
The three new nature shows are called -
'Mammals'
This will focus on different amazing mammals and behaviours of mammals that we have never seen before.
Mammals are wonderful, they are diverse and interesting.
The new 'Mammals' series will be six episodes long, each episode will last for 60 minutes.
'Big Little Journeys'
Big Little Journeys will focus on tiny animals. This series promises to take us into the world of animals that might be overlooked, such as the Formosa pangolin.
This series also focuses on the challenges which small animals face, knowing the challenges they face is important if we are to save and protect small animals.
Big Little Journeys will be three episode, each episode will be 60 minutes long.
'Wild Scandinavia'
Finally, last but not least, the third series is called 'Wild Scandinavia'.
Wild Scandinavia will focus on the nature that lives in some of the most challenging environments to live in, from the Arctic to Iceland's volcanoes, this series will focus on some of nature's most hostile environments. It will also take us to the beautiful forests of Sweden and the tidal shores of Denmark.
'Wild Scandinavia' will be three episodes long and each episode is 60 minutes long.
These new nature shows by the BBC are something to look forward to, they will be available on the 27th and 28th of February 2023.
