What Is Pulse Trawling?

Pulse trawling is a form of fishing that uses an electric field to catch fish.

This form of fishing is seen as cruel and barbaric towards marine animals like fish, as pulse trawling results in fish being electrocuted. Trawling is also destructive towards marine ecosystems - as trawl fishing nets destroy the seabed, this is because the trawling nets are dragged across the seabed floor, which destroys the seabed ecosystem.
