The UK Government have created 'England Trees Action Plan'.


In the UK, the environment is a devolved issue, which means, it is up to the devolved parliaments within the UK to make decisions about the environment.


For England, decisions about the environment are made at Westminster.

The England Trees Action Plan is a plan to help England's woodlands, forests and trees. The plan will be long-term and the plan is from 2021 to 2024.


The plan aims to transform England's treescape by 2050 and onwards.


This is great and exciting news for England's woodlands, forests and trees. This rewilding plan offers hope to wildlife and will help give a home to wild animals, while also helping to create a healthier and cleaner environment.
