The EU Is Lifting Their Ban On Feeding Animal Remains To Other Animals

Factor Farm Pigs

The EU is lifting their ban on feeding animal remains to other animals.

The EU had banned farm animals from being fed animal remains in 1994, however, it now looks as if they are set to lift this ban.

This would mean that farm animals - such as pigs and chickens - will and now can be fed with food that is made out of animal remains.

This ban was originally implemented by the EU because a disease was spread in millions of animals and some people, due to this practice of giving farm animals food that was made from other animals remains.

Considering this hasn't worked out well in the past, it must be asked, 'Why risk doing this again, when it has the potential to harm both animals and people?'

Money shouldn't come before the welfare and safety of both animals and people.
