Rhino poaching has significantly declined, according to a new report.


The findings are published by Reuters and the information on Rhino poaching is from the Nambian government's ministry of environment.


The ministry of environment in Nambia says that Rhino poaching in Nambia has declined by 63% 'year-on-year'. They report that Rhino poaching has declined significantly within Nambia.


In 2019, there were reported to be 46 Rhino poaching incidents.


While in 2020, there were reported to be 17 incidents.


The reason for the decline was tougher policing penalties in Nambia.
