Poland is set to ban fur farming!
The European country just voted on new animal welfare legislation; this legislation was partly about banning fur farming.
It is also legislation to improve the welfare and rights of animals.
The Polish parliament voted on the animal welfare legislation last night. The vast majority of the parliament voted in favour to ban fur farming; with 77% of members of the parliament voting to ban fur farming.
That will mean that millions of animals will be spared from a miserable existence and cruel death from fur farming in Poland, according to PETA, 8 million animals will be saved.
