It's summertime right now in the Northern hemisphere.
And, in the UK right now, there is also a heatwave. This can make water more scarce for wild animals during the heatwave.
You can help animals survive the heatwave (and summer) by providing them with water in your garden. A dish of water can help animals like birds, squirrels and hedgehogs survive the heatwave.
It can even help insects, as they need water too!
Make sure to put some some stones in a shallow dish of water so that any insects that fall in, can find a way back out again. You can also put out a bird bath, to give the birds somewhere to bathe or drink during the heatwave.
Thank you!
