Millions of animals could have their welfare at stake because of UK trade deals if animals are not protected in the future trade deals that the UK makes.
The animals at risk are farm animals.
The petition is asking the UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson to protect farm animals when it comes to the trade deals that the UK will be making in the future.
As a result of Brexit, agriculture laws are recently being made in the UK parliament and debated on. Therefore, it is a great time to ensure that animals will be protected with any new laws being made.
