A new petition has been set up to help animals in the UK.
The petition has been created by Cruelty-Free International. Cruelty-Free International work to help animals being tested on. They do great work to help animals and they are great to follow. If you are looking for cruelty-free products, then Cruelty-Free International has a list of brands that don't test their products on animals.
Cruelty Free International is calling for animals to be protected and calling for the ban on cosmetic testing on animals to remain in the UK.
Sadly, every year in the UK, MILLIONS of animals are used in experiments. This results in animals suffering and being killed. It results in cruelty towards animals. We must end animals experiments, to create a kinder world for animals.
The petition is called 'Plan To Phase Out Animal Experiments'. It is a petition that has gained over 65,000 signatures. This signature needs 100,000 signatures so that it can be debated in the UK parliament. If and when it is debated in parliament, then, there is the opportunity for the parliment to agree to ban animal testing.
