A petition has been created to help animals that are used in the fur industry and used in the foie gras industry.
The petition has been created due to recent reports that the UK Government is set to backtrack on its promise to ban fur and foie gras from being imported into the UK.
The backtrack on the promise to ban fur and foie gras imports into the UK would mean that fur and foie gras would continue to be sold in the UK, this is despite the fact that both the fur industry and the foie gras industry treats animals very cruelly.
If foie gras and fur imports were banned in the UK, and selling these products was banned in the UK, then it would help reduce a lot of animal suffering.
The petition created aims to help stop animals suffering for the purpose of foie gras and fur - we do not need these products and there is no excuse for animal cruelty.
Allowing foie gras and fur to keep being imported into the UK, would be allowing and supporting cruelty towards animals who are used for fur and foie gras.
Foie-gras is cruel because geese are aggressively forced fed to make this product; fur is cruel because an immense amount of suffering happens to animals on fur farms.
In the UK, both fur farms and foie-gras farms are banned, due to the severe cruelty towards animals these industries cause.
When these industries are banned in the UK, it doesn't make any sense to continue to allow imports from the same cruel industry.
Please help end the cruel fur industry and the cruel foie-gras industry by signing the petition created. A better, kinder world can be created for animals.
