There's a lot of bad things that happen to dairy cows, such as - they are killed for their meat and, baby male calves are also killed a few months after they are born.


Therefore, changing what milk you drink and use can help create a kinder world for cows and calves. Today is milk day, and, there are plenty alternatives to milk that doesn't come from dairy cows that can help you live a kinder life.


Here are kind milk alternatives to dairy milk.


🥛Soya Milk



Soya milk is one of the best traditional milk alternatives out there.


Alpro soya milk has different versions of milk, such as the professionals milk (that you can see the picture) and organic soya milk. Alpro is also a sustainable drink, as it doesn't harm the world's rainforests: Alpro is Rainforest Alliance friendly.


Soya milk can be used for drinking, or for things like tea and coffee.


🥛 Oat Milk

Oat milk is another great alternative to traditional milk, and, it is also a better alternative for men than soya milk.


But, at the same time, oat milk is good for everyone. And, if you buy oat milk which is organic, it is good for the environment too. Oat milk is said to have several health benefits. These health benefits include being lactose free and nut free (but you should always read the label, as each product will be different).


Oat milk can be used with things like breakfast cereals.

Almond is another good alternative to traditional milk that you can buy in the shops.


There are many good health benefits to drinking almond mil - such as it having vitamins like vitamin d in it. It also has no saturated fat in it. Therefore, if you are looking for a healthier and less fattening milk, then, this could be your milk.


It's also a good alternative as almond milk is low in calories. Therefore, if you are trying to get fit and healthy, then this is a milk you could try.

The last vegan milk alternative that we are going to look at, is coconut milk.


Coconut milk is a great alternative to traditional milk because it is good for the environment and has health benefits to it. Coconut milk is good for the environment because you can buy organic coconut milk; organic is good for the environment. It is also good for your health. Health benefits to drinking coconut milk include this milk having several minerals and vitamins in it - including iron and vitamin c and d.


Coconut milk is especially high in iron. Therefore, if you are vegan or vegetarian then this milk could help give you a source of iron.

Ditching milk that comes from cows, and using a vegan milk alternative, has a lots of benefits to it: it's good for you, it's good for animals and the planet.


By using a vegan milk alternative, you create a kinder world for animals as it stops cows from being exploited and killed.

January is also Veganuary month. Veganuary is a month were people try and go vegan for the month of January. Even just small changes in your diet to vegan alternatives can make a big difference to animals and the environment. One small change that you could make this Veganuary is changing your milk from traditional milk to a vegan milk alternative. If we all make small changes like this, it adds up to big changes and can make a more positive and kinder world for us all.
