Jaguars Have Been Reintroduced Into The Ibera Wetlands In Argentina

Jaguar

Jaguars have been reintroduced into the Ibera wetlands in Argentina.

This is the first time that Jaguars have set foot in the Ibera wetlands for 70 years, which is great news for this wetlands ecosystem.

This reintroduction of Jaguars into the Ibera wetlands is great news for Argentina, as there is only a very small population of Jaguars that are now found living within the wild of Argentina today. It is estimated that there are only between 200 to 300 Jaguars left in the wild of Argentina today.

A total of three Jaguars were released recently into the Ibera wetlands. Those three Jaguars that were released into the wetlands were a female Jaguar and two of her adorable baby cubs. If you want to see footage of the Jaguar and her two cute cubs, then you can do so with the video below from Mongabay.
