The Vaquita porpoise is one of the world's most endangered animals. Sadly, the vaquita porpoise is critically endangered today with a very small population.
It was announced in May of this year that there were only TEN individual vaquita porpoises left in the world, making these animals very close to extinction.
To save the vaquita porpoise, we need to protect them and preserve their habitat.
Recent news has offered hope for the protection of vaquita porpoises, as Mexico is going to try a new technique to help save these animals from extinction.
Hopefully, the decline of the vaquita porpoise can be preserved, and the remaining vaquita porpoises can be protected.
The future of these animals will depend upon what we do today.
