Scottish Wildcat

A 'huge' Scottish Wildcat has been spotted in Aberdeenshire.

A family in Aberdeenshire spotted the Scottish Wildcat and took a picture of the cool animal: Wildcat Haven have shared the picture on their petition page.

Wildcat Haven says that:

''Finds like this prove that the Scottish Wildcat is still out there in the wild and we will continue our work with the help of people like Dave and Erin, to make sure that they remain so''.

It is Dave and Erin who photographed the Scottish Wildcat.

The exact location of this Scottish Wildcat is not being revealed so that the Scottish Wildcat can be protected from harm.

Wildcat Haven also says that:

''Remember, according to the Scottish Government, the best way forward would be to capture and cage this cat, rather than protect it in the wild.''

Protecting Scottish Wildcats in the wild is important for the survival of these beautiful highland tigers. Protecting their forest home is also essential for the survival of these beautiful cats.

The discovery of this new Sottish Wildcat is exciting and offers hope for the future for these beautiful cats. Scottish Wildcats are beautiful animals that should be protected.
