This Christmas, pets and other animals need us more than ever.
With the cost of living crisis, more owners are struggling to feed their pets, and more pets are becoming homeless.
We can all do something to help.
Christmas is a time of giving. A time for making the world a better and more joyful place. We can all help pet owners and shelters that are struggling to get by.
You can help pets this Christmas by donating a can or box of pet food to your local food bank - every donation helps, so even just one tin of dog or cat food can go a long way to adding up and helping pets this winter.
You could also help by donating rabbit or hamster food to your local food bank, or even some hay.
A lot of pets are also sadly homeless this Christmas and living in animal shelters, a donation to an animal shelter can also help spread some Christmas cheer to animals who need it.
Here are some suggestions of what you could donate to an animal shelter -
Food
Bedding (hay etc)
Blankets
Toys
Christmas gifts
Donating something to an animal shelter to help homeless pets can help to bring some joy to these animals who don't have a loving home or family.
We can all do something to help this Christmas be a little better for those pets and those pets and owners who are struggling right now and need some love. Even if we all done something small (like just donating one tin of pet food to a food bank) it can add up to make a big difference.
If you can, please help share some Christmas cheer this winter by helping pets. š¾
