Yesterday was Ban Live Exports: International Awareness Day.
Ban Live Exports: International Awareness Day is a day to help raise awareness for the millions of animals who are forced to endure long and cruel journeys.
These cruel and long journeys happen for days, where animals are transported in cramp, overcrowded and warm conditions, to move them from country to country to be slaughtered for their meat. These journeys are unnecessary.
They also result in cruelty towards animals.
Millions of animals are transported in live exports every year. This results in millions of animals suffering every year because of these journeys.
Animals don't deserve to suffer, they don't deserve the cruelty that comes with these long and painful journeys. But, it doesn't have to be this way, we can help to end these cruel live animal exports, to create a kinder world for animals.
