We have been connecting to the natural world throughout the month of May through No Mow May, and with May now drawing to a close and June on the horizon there is another great way that we can connect with nature next month!
In June there is an exciting event happening throughout the month to do with the natural world and animal kingdom.
This event is called '30 Days Wild'.
What Is 30 Days Wild?
30 Days Wild is an event created by 'The Wildlife Trusts' and is held every year throughout June.
Throughout the month of June, The Wildlife Trusts is asking people to do one thing each day in June to connect to the natural world.
It is a way to do something kind for the natural world and animal kingdom throughout the first month of summer - the summertime is a great time to connect with nature and enjoy the natural world, as wildlife is abundant and the weather is at its best, so it is a perfect time to enjoy nature and wildlife.
Connecting with nature and doing things to help wildlife makes the world a better, kinder and more compassionate place, it also is beneficial for us too, as being in nature makes us feel better and benefits our health.
Taking part in 30 Days Wild is a great way to connect with nature.
Nature needs us now more than ever - we are in a biodiversity crisis and the UK is also one of the world's most nature-depleted countries in the world. We are also sadly seeing wildlife declining and ecosystems being destroyed. If we all do something to help the natural world and the nature that lives within it, then, we can help to create a better world and environment.
Over 67,000 people have now signed up to take part in 30 Days Wild: you can also sign up to take part in the summer challenge to help nature!
When you sign up for 30 Days Wild, you will get your own free pack and inspiration about what you can do each day to help the natural world.
