Beautiful Robin

It is that time of year: the Big Garden Birdwatch is almost here again!

The Big Garden Birdwatch is an event that takes place every year; it takes place every year at the end of January.

The Big Garden Birdwatch 2022 will take place between the 28th and 30th of January. This event is free for everyone to take part in, from the comfort of your own home. It is a great event to help birds and other wildlife.

What Is The Big Garden Birdwatch?

Cute Starling

The Big Garden Birdwatch is an event that is created and run by the wildlife charity the RSPB. It has now been held for over 40 years.

The Big Garden Birdwatch is when people sit for one hour, looking out into their garden and recording the birds that they see in that hour.

If you do not have a garden, that's okay, as you can go to your local park and record the birds that you see there for an hour.

The RSPB has also asked people to record other wildlife that they see, as part of the Big Garden Birdwatch.

Taking part in the Big Garden Birdwatch is free and you can do it during your own time, it is a great event to do for yourself, the birds and nature.

Why Should I Take Part?

Taking part in the Big Garden Birdwatch 2022 is a great way to help birds.

It is also a great way to help other wildlife.

It will help birds and other wildlife because it helps the RSPB gather data on bird populations. This can help the RSPB know if bird populations are increasing or decreasing. Understanding bird populations can help us to understand which birds are potentially at risk of becoming vulnerable to extinction.

We could stop birds and other animals becoming extinct if we know their populations and know what challenges they face.

Helping birds and other wildlife is one of the great benefits you will get from taking part in the Big Garden Birdwatch. Another benefit that you will gain by taking part, is in helping yourself. This event helps us to feel close to nature and helps us to take care of nature: it also helps us to spend time in nature.

Spending time in nature is helpful to our mental health. It can help us feel happier and healthier and help us to connect with the beautiful wildlife around us.

Taking part in the Big Garden Birdwatch 2022 is easy to do, you can sign up by going here, on the RSPB website!
