Happy National Hot Tea Day! š«āļø
National Hot Tea Day is celebrated on the 12th of January every year; National Hot Tea Day was founded in 2016.
The UK is well-known for its love of tea, and, as a typical British person, I love tea too.
There are many different types of tea, there is traditional tea, and then there is herbal teas. There is so many different flavours to choose from, such as - orange, lemon, strawberry, mint and many, many more.
But, while there are many teas out there to choose from, it's good to think about how our purchases of tea impact nature, the environment and people.
The Rainforest Alliance works to help ensure nature and people can live in harmony and thrive, buying tea products with the Rainforest Alliance logo on them can help to make a positive difference for nature and people. You can help to protect the world's forests by making sure the tea you purchase has a Rainforest Alliance logo on it.
Thankfully, there are many different brands of tea out there with the Rainforest Alliance logo on it. These brands include -
Yorkshire Tea
Tetley
Asda
Tesco
In total, there are 78 different tea brands with the Rainforest Alliance logo on it, if you would like to find which products of tea are Rainforest Alliance approved, then you can go to the Rainforest Alliance website, there, you will also find many other food and drink products which are approved by the Rainforest Alliance.
Through our purchases we can impact the world, we can unknowingly buy products which are harmful to animals and nature, but, by just looking on the products for the Rainforest Alliance logo or the leaping bunny logo, we can help change the world and make it a kinder and better place for animals and nature, by buying products which are nature and animal-friendly.
