World Whale Day happens on the third Sunday of February every year, this year, World Whale Day falls on the 19th of February. It is a day to raise awareness about whales, but also is a day to celebrate these beautiful giants.
It is estimated that there are around 90 species of whale in the world today.
Amongst those species are:
. The blue whale
. North Atlantic whale
. The fin whale
. The orca
. The narwhal
. Beluga
These are some of the species of whales which are found living in the world today.
Whales are found living throughout the world; these amazing animals are found living in all of the world's oceans.
Whales communicate through sounds they make, these sounds sound relaxing and are used for ambient and meditation sounds for people to relax to.
It is amazing to have these wonderful animals in the world with us, we are lucky to have them and share our world with these beautiful animals.
