Creating A Brighter Future For Dolphins And Whales
We can all create a brighter future for these adorable animals. We can do that through some of the choices that we make. Just living a slightly different way can create a brighter future for Whales and Dolphins. There are a few ways that we can all do this.
One of the ways that we can create a brighter future for these animals, is by discarding rubbish in the bin when we are outside, rather than throwing it away. The rubbish that is thrown away on places like beaches can and do harm and kill marine animals.
Marine animals are specifically harmed by plastic pollution.
Plastic pollution is responsible for killing a lot of marine animals - like Dolphins and Whales. It is estimated that a massive 56% of Dolphin, Whale, and Porpoise species have consumed plastic in their lives. There are also 100,000 marine mammals that are sadly killed in the world's oceans and seas because they have ended up entangled in plastic.
Therefore, another way that you can help Dolphins and Whales is by reducing your plastic waste and choosing products that don't have a lot of plastic in it.
Let's create a world that is more positive for Whales and Dolphins.
Happy World Whales and Dolphin Day!
