Puppies are one of the sleepiest animals in the animal kingdom too, it is estimated that puppies can sleep up to 20 hours of the day. It is estimated that puppies can sleep for between 16 and 20 hours every single day.
Cats sleep around 15 hours a day, whereas, kittens sleep around 20 hours a day. Therefore, puppies can sleep as long as kittens can every day.
Sleeping is essential for puppies, but, what is also essential for puppies is playing. Puppies won't start playing until they are about 5 months old. Once puppies do start playing, they will learn in different stages.
How Long Are Dogs Puppies For?
Playing with your puppy and teaching him or her how to play, is one of the best things about having a puppy, as you get to bond with your pet in a fun way.
You can also do this when your puppy becomes a dog, as dogs are very playful and full of life too; they also need playtime which is good for their health and happiness.
The length of time that a dog will be a puppy will depend upon the breed of dog, some dog breeds will take longer to grow into an adult dog. However, puppies will become a dog between one or two years of being born.
