Pet Sitters Week is between the 1st of March and the 7th of March.
Pet Sitters Week began in 1995 by Pet Sitters International, it is a week to celebrate pet sitters and the work they do to help and look after animals in their care.
Pet sitters will provide pet care for different animals. The most common animals that they look after our cats and dogs. However, there are also many other pets that pet sitters look after and provide pet care for, including providing pets care for smaller pets, such as pets like rabbits, rats, mice, hamsters, guinea pigs, and more.
Pet sitters will do things like look after pets when people are away on holiday. It's also common for pet sitters to look after people's dogs and take them for walks as a dog walker.
They provide care for pets and look after pets, while also helping people at the same time while looking after people's pets.
