The Intelligence Of Pigs
Pigs are one of the world's most intelligent animals. They are even thought to be more clever than dogs. Pigs are intelligent and emotional animals. They are good at things like problem-solving.
Pigs are so smart that a study found that IQ tests show that pigs can be smarter than dogs and cats and are ranked as the fourth most intelligent animal in the world.
Pigs can also learn things quicker than small children and do puzzles and games that small children can't do (as you can see from the video below).
Their cleverness makes pigs one of the most fascinating animals in the world, and they are adorably cute - especially the baby pigs!
Baby Pigs are known as piglets.
A female pig (Sows) can be pregnant with many babies at one time. Sows give birth to an average of between 10 to 12 piglets in one litter. There have also been Sows that have given birth to many more piglets during the one litter. The largest litter of Sows thought to have been born at one time is 37 piglets!
Pigs deserve a special day like National Pig Day for being intelligent, loving, and fascinating animals.
