National Nest Box Week is from the 14th to the 21st of February this month.
It is a week aimed at encouraging people to help the birds, by putting up nest boxes for them.
Putting up nest boxes for our feathered friends gives the birds a place to live and shelter. You can provide the birds with a home by putting up a nest box, or some nest boxes, in your garden.
By doing this, you will be helping the birds.
It's particularly important to help the birds during winter, as it is a time when the weather is harshest, and there is much less food to find for them.
By putting up a nest box or two in the garden for birds, you will help these amazing animals through the rest of the winter.
