What Threats Do Badgers Face?

Even though Badgers have the conservation status of 'least concern' - which means that they aren't near extinction today - they do face several threats.

Threats that Badgers face include:

. Badger baiting

. Being hunted

. Being culled

. Habitat destruction

We have many examples from the natural world that threats like these to a species can push animals to become endangered, or even extinct.

Therefore, we should spot the signs that a species could become endangered or extinct in the future, with the signs that we have today and prevent it from happening. That way, we can prevent future extinctions.
