Where Do Jaguars Live?
Jaguars are only found in the Americas today. Jaguars were once a lot more numerous than they now are - today, these beautiful big cats have lost half of the historic lands that they once roamed in. These big cats were once found in the southwest of the United States of America, but their population seems to have disappeared from much of there.
Jaguars can still be found in the United States though.
The North American Jaguar, is, a species of Jaguar found within the US. These Jaguars have been spotted in Arizona in the past. North American Jaguars are also found in Central America, in countries like Belize.
Jaguars are also found in South America. In South America, Jaguars are found living within the Amazon rainforest and the Pantanal Wetlands.
Jaguars are a symbolic symbol of the Amazon rainforest: these beautiful big cats are one of the most iconic animals that you will find in the Amazon Rainforest.
International Jaguar Day
International Jaguar Day is a very new celebration.
International Jaguar Day only began in 2018. Therefore, this is the third International Jaguar Day this year. This day was founded by the WWF and UN.
It is a day to celebrate these big cats that will be celebrated on the 29th of November every year now. It is a great day to celebrate Jaguars and raise awareness about them.
