Today is the first of March, and Spring is now in the air!
The days of long, dark, winter nights are almost over. The nights are starting to become lighter, with the long dark winter nights drawing to a close.
The days will continue to get longer in the coming weeks and months with the clocks changing soon, which will make the days longer and brighter.
Birds are starting to make their nests and sing, they are preparing for the Spring ahead. Spring is a time of new life and a rebirth of nature.
After a long time of the natural world being largely dormant over the winter, the natural world is starting to come alive again.
It is a good time to enjoy nature and look forward to the natural world coming alive again: trees, plants and flowers will soon be blooming again.
