Endangered Penguin Chicks Born At Edinburgh Zoo šŸ’™šŸ§

Picture From Edinburgh Zoo

There is good news from Scotland, as two endangered penguins have been born!

Two Northern rockhopper penguin chicks have been born in Edinburgh Zoo, in Scotland. This is good news, as Northern rockhopper penguins are endangered.

The news about the birth of the two chicks was announced today on the Edinburgh Zoo Twitter page. The two chicks don't appear to have names yet.

The Northern rockhopper penguin population has declined over the last few decades, which has resulted in these birds becoming an endangered species.

While it is great news that these two chicks have been born, we need to conserve and protect animals without keeping animals in captivity the way that they are kept in zoos, what would be better than zoos is sanctuaries or national parks.
