The SSPCA (The Scottish Society for the Protection of Cruelty to Animals) has decided today that it will take measures to help stop the spread of coronavirus.
From today onwards, until the foreseeable future, the SSPCA will be taking several measures to help prevent the spread of coronavirus throughout their shelters in Scotland.
These measures include:
. The closure of their animal shelters to the public
. The cancellation of school and center visits from the SSPCA
. And, no donations of blankets or towels will be accepted from the SSPCA to stop the threat of coronavirus spreading.
The SSPCA won’t be in complete lockdown though. There will still be:
. Appointments for rehoming animals
. The SSPCA staff will also still be working to help the animals within their care and to help rescue animals and wildlife which need help.
These measures that will be taken by the SSPCA will be taking these measures from tomorrow onwards (the 18th of March 2020), until the foreseeable future.
