In today's Christmas advent calendar, we celebrate Mountain Hares.
Mountain Hares are cute animals that are found in the UK. But sadly, they have declined dramatically during the last few decades. The decline in Mountain Hares have been massive over the last few decades: they have declined by a massive 99% in Scotland since the 1950s, which is a very sad and alarming decline.
They are cute animals and deserve to live in this world too.
