Today is day 8 of our Christmas advent calendar, and today, we are celebrating one of the rarest animals in the world: Asiatic Cheetahs!
Asiatic Cheetahs are critically endangered today.
These beautiful big cats are only found in Iran today. Asiatic Cheetahs are so rare, that there are only thought to be 50 left in the world. This makes them one of the worlds most endangered animals and cats. It also means that they are the most endangered big cat in the world today.
Asiatic Cheetahs were once abundant and were found in much of the middle east and India. But today, these beautiful big cats are on the edge of extinction.
