Chile is the latest country to join the UK's Global Ocean Alliance.
Other countries to join the Global Ocean Alliance include Canada and Germany.
What Is The Global Ocean Alliance?
The Global Ocean Alliance is a marine conservation movement that was set up by the UK government last year. Upon its founding, 10 countries originally joined the UK government in partnership, signing up to the Global Ocean Alliance.
Since then, the Global Ocean Alliance has grown to include more countries.
The main goal of the Global Ocean alliance is countries coming together to work on marine conservation. This includes protecting the world's oceans. It will also establish Marine Protected Areas and has a goal of protecting at least 30% of the world's oceans.
