The British government has sent help to Mauritius, to help Mauritius with the recent oil spill there.
The British government, on the 20th of August, announced that it was sending help to Mauritius.
The British government sent the Mauritian government ecological experts and marine experts to help the Mauritian government deal with the recent oil spill. The experts will help the Mauritian government assess the damage of the oil spill and protect animals which are now at risk of pollution because of the oil spill.
The British High Commission has also provided the Mauritius Wildlife Fund with £10,000 to help with the oil spill.
