A brave military dog is to receive a medal!
The adorable dog is a Belgian Sheppard called Kuno.
Kuno is to receive the Dickin Medal from the animal charity the PSDA. The Dickin Medal is the animal medal equivalent of the Victoria Cross Medal for humans.
Kuno is to receive the medal for his brave service with the British Army overseas. He served with the British Army overseas fighting against groups like Al Qaeda.
Sadly, while in the army, Kuno was wounded while saving lives. His injuries were to his back legs. He had to have medical on his legs and sadly one of his legs was amputated.
Thankfully, Kuno now has prosthetic limbs.
He is the first military dog from the UK to have prosthetic limbs.
He has had a lot of care while being back in the UK.
