There is sad news from Rome in Italy, as hundreds of birds have been found lifeless on the streets of Rome. The birds were found on New Year.

It is thought that most of the birds that were found were Starlings.

The scenes of the dead birds on Rome's streets looked apocalyptic, as hundreds of birds could be seen dead on the ground. It's thought that the birds died from stress due to New Years Eve fireworks, but the cause of the birds deaths hasn't been confirmed. There is a video below of the scene.
