There is some good news, as an adorable baby giant anteater has been born in Dudley Zoo, in the United Kingdom.
The news about the new addition to Dudley Zoo was announced on Valentine's Day. This is the first giant anteater born in Dudley Zoo.
The parents of this newborn are cutely named Bubbles and Lyra, they welcomed their newborn on the 17th of January last month.
The zoo has said that mum, Lyra, is coping well with her first time being a mother. The name of Lyra's newborn has not been revealed yet, as the staff do not know yet whether the newborn giant anteater is male or female.
The birth is welcoming and good news for this species of animal, as giant anteaters are currently a species that is vulnerable to extinction.
