It is day 13 of our Christmas advent calander.
In day 13 of the Christmas advent calander, we are celebrating: foxes! 🦊🧡
Foxes are cute and intelligent animals, we are lucky to have them in the world with us.
It is estimated that there are 37 species of foxes in the world today.
Two of the most well-known species of fox are the Arctic fox and the red fox.
The Arctic fox is found living in the Arctic circle. These cute foxes are smaller than the red fox and are found in countries like Norway, Canada and Russia.
The red fox is the largest species of fox. These cute foxes are found in many more places than the Arctic fox, they are found throughout Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Canada, the USA and some parts of Northern Africa - red foxes are native in these places.
Red foxes are also found in Australia, where they were introduced there.
A happy and peaceful Christmas to the world's foxes! 🧡🦊🎄
