A Singing Dog Found 50 Years After They Went Extinct

New Guniea Singing Dog

A 'singing' dog has been refound again in the wild. The magical sounding dog has been refound again 50 years after it was thought to have gone extinct in the wild.

The dog is also known as the New Guinea 'singing' dog.

In the wild these cute animals have been found in the New Guinea highlands.

The recent sighting of the New Guinea 'singing' dog breaths life back into this once thought of extinct species.

The story about this dog brings hope. Other animals we may believe are currently extinct in the wild, may still be living in nature - if an animal as big as a dog was thought to have gone extinct, then, how many other animals that we think are extinct, may still be out there in the wild?

This is especially true for smaller animals we think are extinct.

What if smaller animals than the New Guinea singing dog - that we think are extinct - are still alive out there somewhere?

This may be the case.

This is because, just a few days ago, it was reported that they found the elephant shrew again (the elephant shrew is a much smaller animal than the singing dog).

The elephant shrew was also thought to have been extinct until a few days ago - it was also thought that the elephant shrew had been extinct for the last 50 years. So, perhaps there are more species like these two animals. Hopefully, we will get to see more stories like these two animals in the future.

It's exciting to see animals like the elephant shrew and the New Guinea 'singing' dog being found again in the wild, after all this time.

Welcome back New Guinea 'singing' dog!
