Today is the beginning of the Wildlife Trust's '30 Days in the Wild'.
30 Days in the Wild is an event created by the Wildlife Trust to encourage people to spend every day in June doing something in nature and for nature.
It's a great way to connect with nature, and appreciate it.
By spending time in nature and by watching wildlife, we enjoy it and appreciate it. Just spending time watching the birds in your garden, going for a walk in nature, or, doing something nature-inspired, helps us to appreciate nature more.
The Wildlife Trust's putting together and creating 30 Days in the Wild are inspiring us to connect with nature in different ways.
This year, they have inspired us to eat breakfast in our gardens during the first day of 30 Days in the Wild, this is called 'The Big Wild Breakfast'.
Today was the first Big Wild Breakfast. People across the country took part in the Big Wild Breakfast this morning - I did too - and, it has inspired me to do this more often as it was a good way to start the day by being outside and enjoying nature and the wildlife around me while I ate my breakfast. I think things like this can help us to spend more time in nature, appreciate the beautiful wildlife and scenery around us, and, help us to appreciate life more in the present moment.
I'm looking forward to tomorrow and the rest of June to spend more time in nature and around wildlife. I hope that you will take part too.
