There are two great ways that you can help animals this month!
The first way that you can help animals, is by taking part in Veganuary. Although Veganuary does start on the first of January every month, there is still time to take part in this years one. And, a second way that you can help animals this month, is by taking part in the Big Garden Birdwatch!
Helping Animals Through Veganuary
Veganuary takes place throughout the whole month of January. It is a UK non-profit which encourages and helps people to go vegan for the month - and it's free! You can get your very own starter kit for Veganuary.
The aim of Veganuary is to help promote a vegan lifestyle, for the sake of animals, people and the planet itself.
Each year now, half a million people take part in Veganuary from all around the world - there are people from 178 countries that take part in Veganuary.
If you want to help animals this month, why not take part in Veganuary?!
Helping Animals Through The Big Garden Birdwatch
Another way that you can help animals this month, is by taking part in the Big Garden Birdwatch - the Big Garden Birdwatch is also free to take part in, and you can sign up at any time!
The Big Garden Birdwatch take place annually. And, this one takes place between the 25th and 27th of January. You can request your free Big Garden Birdwatch pack today before the event takes place!
Taking part in the Big Garden Birdwatch helps the RSPB know and monitor bird populations, and wild animal populations. Animals such as Hedgehogs, Toads, Frogs, Foxes, Badgers and Deers are all included in the Big Garden Birdwatch, therefore, not only will you be helping birds with this event, you will also be helping other wild animals through taking part!
Final Thoughts
These are just two ways that you can help animals this month. Just taking part in one of them will help animals tremendously.
The Big Garden Birdwatch only requires an hour of your time over the weekend of the 25th and 27th of January, it's such a short period of time that can make a world of difference in helping animals here in the UK.
You could also help wild animals by providing them with food and water in your garden to help them get through the Winter.
Thank you!
