The UK Has Its Warmest June On Record 🌡

The UK has had its warmest June on record, says the Met Office.

Making June 2023 the hottest June on record in the UK.

It was also a June that was drier than average for most of the United Kingdom.

June being drier than normal and seeing it's hottest temperature ever is because of climate change, the Met Office has said.

With less rain and more heat than what is normal, it gives us important questions - How has this impacted wildlife? And, how has this impacted crops?

Also, how has this impacted our ecosystems, like forests?

And, if these temperatures and less rainfall persist and become the norm in the future, then how will it impact wildlife and our ecosystems? How will our wildlife and ecosystems cope? Will they be able to cope?

Can we see that it is already having an impact on wildlife? With a decline in insects and birds, perhaps climate change is already impacting them, and if temperatures and dry conditions increase in years to come, it will likely have a bigger impact on our wildlife and ecosystems.
