Please Sign This Petition To Help End Bullfighting

The bullfighting industry is seeing a decline and possibly it's end, with no bullfights allowed to take place - an already declining industry may have been given its fatal blow by this virus.

Bullfights were stopped in mid-March in Spain, because of the virus. As Spain went into lockdown, bullfighting was cancelled throughout the country - these bans on bullfights look set to stay until at least July in Spain, as the annual running of the bulls was cancelled.

It doesn't like bullfighting will be returning any time soon.

Perhaps bullfighting won't return at all. There are several reasons why bullfighting might not return in Spain: 1) the bullfighting industry is needing hundreds of millions of Euros to bail it out, 2) attendance has been declining over the last few years - it's almost declined by half, 3) the vast majority of Spanish people don't attend bullfights, 4) an economic downturn will likely prioritize others things in Spain and 5) over 100,000 people want to end bullfighting's funding.

An animal non-profit organization which tries to help animals in Spain and Latin America has started a petition to ask the government not to give financial aid to the bullfighting industry.

The bullfighting industry has asked for a bailout for it to keep going.

Over 100,000, and almost 110,000 people have now signed the petition, which shows that there is strong support from people to end the bullfighting once and for all.

This situation gives us a unique opportunity to help end bullfighting.
