Insect Decline: How To Help Insects In Your Garden

There has been a noticeable decline in insects in recent years.

Especially this year, when I've seen an even bigger decline in insects, so much so that I'm asking -

Where is all the cricket sounds?

Where are all the ladybirds?

Where are all the wasps?

Early in the summer I did notice some butterflies, and have noticed an increase bees this year in the garden, because I've planted a lot of flowers.

A good way that you can help insects, is to plant flowers and plants in your garden this summer.

You could do this by creating a mini-meadow in your garden - a space with flowers and grass, this will help give a place for insects to shelter and live in, it will also provide flowers for pollinators like bees and butterflies.

Having flowers and plants in the garden also looks beautiful, and benefits us. Being around nature improves our mental health, and makes us feel happier.

It's also rewarding growing flowers and plants, watching them grow, and gardening also is a way to be creative and come up with our own design.

We can all help insects in our garden.

Planting and growing flowers and plants in your garden is a great way to help insects, it's also a joy to watch insects and the flowers in your garden during the summer months. We can all help reverse the insect decline by creating wildlife-friendly gardens, which will benefit wildlife and ourselves.
