Moon Day is celebrated on the 20th of July every year, it is a cool day which is celebrated during the middle of summer.
Moon Day is a great day to appreciate our beautiful moon.
Summer is a great time to fully appreciate the moon. Spending time watching the moon when it can be seen on a clear summers day is ethereal, and watching the moon on a clear summers night while star gazing is magical.
There are other ways we can enjoy the moons magical presence.
Such as, enjoying lunar eclipses when they happen.
When Is The Next Lunar Eclipse?
Sadly, we won't see a lunar eclipse this summer.
The good news is that there is a lunar eclipse, and it is set to happen at a perfect time, as the next lunar eclipse will happen just before Halloween.
The next solar eclipse will happen on the 28th and 29th of October.
Until then, we can enjoy the moon during the summer.
Appreciating the moon and taking time watch it and stargaze helps us to appreciate and be grateful for the every days things in life that are right in front of us.
Connecting with nature, spending time in it and connecting to seasons helps us to appreciate things like our moon.
