On day 7 of our Christmas advent, we are celebrating a cute bird.
That bird is called the Willow Tit.
The Willow Tit is a cute bird that is found in the UK. They are mostly found in England and Wales in the UK, and not found throughout most of Scotland and are absent from Northern Ireland. They are sadly one of the UK's most endangered animals today, as their population is very low.
The Willow Tit population has fallen by a massive 94% in the UK since the 1970s. These cute birds are now threatened with extinction in the UK, as there are now only 3,400 pairs of Willow Tits living in the UK.
