Today we are celebrating one of the world's most interesting animals: Japanese Macaques. These cute animals are quirky and interesting - Japanese Macaques are the world's most Northerly living primate, they are also called 'Snow Monkeys.'
They are called 'Snow Monkeys' due to the cold and snowy climate that they live in. These cute Snow Monkeys live in a snow-covered landscape for months of the year, they are most famous for their bathing in natural hot springs in the wild during the winter months, which helps to keep them warm.
